TOXIC PEOPLE; THEM OR YOU??
Many a times, we are let down by our loved ones. Of course, we don't see that coming because we often curb the reality and live in some sort of fantasy.
Let me give you a reality check.
What happens when you tighten your grip on sand? It advances it's flow and trickles through your fingers. Right? Right.
Similarly, when you hold on to people OR your expectations, it'll all slip away and you'll be remained with yourself. Again.
I'm not going to write about how PEOPLE will dump you, break your heart or how to deal with it.
Rather, I'm going to be focusing on what you are doing to be walked away from!
Enough of reading and writing stuff about how normal it is to be cheated, hurt, left out, heartbroken and all the emotions a desi drama could ever have.
Listen to me now,
You're not special. Trust me, you're not.
This might sound bitter but it's actually true. I often say this to myself and you better do it too.
You're just another human being. Breathing. Eating. Sleeping. Basically, surviving just like any other person on this planet. Boom!
So what makes you any special?
Stop giving yourself sooo much of importance and priority that you always conclude with judging and misunderstanding the other person.
It's not the other person who's always at fault. Sometimes, it's just you and your EGO.
I've already mentioned in my previous blog about how you're not a victim of anything. A brief analysis on your own self would reveal how much of good you actually hold in. (Of course, myself included)
One walks away only if you give them a chance. Or compel them to. Remember that.
•Learn to respect their feelings.
•Accept them the way they are.
•Avoid doing things that makes them uncomfortable.
-No Matter what kind of relationship you share - marital, siblings, parental, friendships or whatsoever man!
What we usually do when a relationship is worn out is we're so damn quick to judge and start saying things like - "whatever they were so toxic I'm just glad I've got rid of them" and prepare for defence. Woah wait, relax! Breathe.
Okay. They must be toxic to you. Agreed. But how much of natural and real are you???
Look, forget about who walks into your life, stays or flees like a breeze after touching you for what feels like a millisecond. People come and go. Focus on YOURSELF.
Count YOUR mistakes.
Chunk of advice: You lost someone? Don't lose another one. See why it happened. What did you lack? Improve. Don't prepare for a battle. Don't justify your actions or intentions to others but to yourself.
Because everytime it's NOT the other person who's TOXIC but You. If only you knew.
I hope this clears our concepts about blaming others for all the chaos.
